Matt Bagley
IFP Founder/Printmaker
Matt Bagley has devoted his whole life to being creative. Making art has been the Bagley family business for generations. However, labeling Mr. Bagley as strictly an artist would only partially describe his artistic endeavors. He also can be considered a storyteller, inventor, printer, activist, skateboard instructor, primitive architect, pan-dimensional archeologist, digital theologian, and bicycling philosopher. He jokingly refers to himself as a “Renaissance Bum.” He grew up on the bayous of south Louisiana. While exploring the swamps as a boy, he also learned to seek sanctuary and answers in the depths of his imagination. Matt trained as a printmaker at the University of North Texas, and he currently uses woodblock prints (often on handmade paper) as his preferred method of making his vision a reality.
